MISSION

The mission of Southeastern Berks Historical Group is to archive and share the history and personal memories of people in the southeastern Berks County community and surrounding neighbors.

Southeastern Berks County is an area rich in history, with many of the facts and folklore widely unknown. It is important to record this information to share with younger generations who will continue to preserve our history.

Don’t see your town? Email history@seberkshistory.org with your memory, story or photo. We are happy to accept any item you would like to donate, whether it is a tangible object, memory or story. It is ALL important. We have the ability to scan and archive photographs, and to scan, OCR and transcribe handwritten material as well.

Any donations of tangible items will be stored in a safe and put on display when the appropriate venue is completed. Those items will be photographed and archived digitally as well, so that the public may access them via this website.
